Who knows I would learned about William Shakespeare instead of majoring in Actuarial Science?
His great work on A Midsummer Night’s Dream is mostly imitated from Ovid’s Metamorphoses but it was not a simple and direct imitation yet full of modifications based on the imitations. Never heard those? Me too. Just knew it in less than a week because of the assignment for a Gen Ed course.
It was a crucial time for me to understand the essays on Shakespeare. No, it is not the original work from Shakespeare. It was just an essay about Shakespeare’s early life and his work on A Midsummer Night’s Dream. I just could not imagine how if I were to read the original work of Shakespeare. That would be the worst nightmare in my life.
Half an hour passed by after I printed out the paper on Shakespeare and Ovid, and I felt so impressed for those who spend their whole lives on this oldies, classical, and literature thingy. How their brain function to understand all those stuff. Unlike me who could never fully understand them (I just got approximately 1% from all I read).
How heterogeneous human are. How great God is. Yet nobody can be perfect to be good at all fields because we do have our own limitation. Thus, we are made different to one another to make the world full of harmony as we are completing each other.

What? No, we are not wearing halloween costumes. It’s for the Eid. The picture was taken right after the finance class.
After class, went to grab some food at the Union. Of course there are no rendang, ketupat, kuah kacang, lodeh, lemang, or any. We were discussing about those stuff though while walking to the Union. On the morning of Eid, we did not eat those foods, but ate some pizzas, sushi, and noodles. No worries, the pizzas were assumed as the ketupat. Sushi is the lemang. The salsa is the rendang. And the wasabi is the kuah kacang.
That is our raya. Awesome isn’t it?

I’m not home. Currently thousand miles away from the place where I was given birth. And Raya is just around the junction. Less than a week before Ramadhan waving goodbye.
According to the Gregorian Calendar, it will be on Oct 1, 2008 and Syawal 1st, 1429 in Hijrah Calendar, which is on Wednesday. The interesting part? Got finance exam on Monday, classical civilization assignment on Tuesday, and another finance exam on Friday (Nasib baik tak jadi loser ada exam hari raya).
I would have play the meriam buluh on Sunday night if I were back home. Yet, have to study for the exam. I would have anyam the ketupat on Monday if I were breathing the oxygen in Malaysia. But, got an exam on that day. I would have been at the mosque on Wednesday morning for sembahyang raya and went for beraya afterwards if I were in Jasin, Melaka. Instead, need to go to the class on Wednesday from 10am to 2pm. Gosh, what a life!
What a life. That is my life, the life that I’ve chosen. What about you? What about others?
Come on, isn’t it bored if everyone has a same life. That is why different people have different lives and experiences. To make the world cool and awesome to be lived. Experience makes someone tougher. Wohoo. I’m tough even I’m skinny like a skeleton.
Experience is the best and most loyal teacher. Grab it, and you can use it for future benefits.

Has it been a month? Long time separation from the blogging world. Feeling lazy to squeeze my brain and writing here. But after few weeks my college life started, I think my brain can be squeezed a little bit now.
The picture here? Oh don’t worry, it is not meant to anyone. Seriously, I uploaded it just for fun. And it does not ‘dedicated’ to my friends either. Oh man, I told you again, it means nothing, don’t worry buddies.
By the way, it has been a week in the greatest month in Hijr’s Calendar, Ramadhan. Still early I guess to wish, “Selamat berpuasa” to everyone.

Never had a blog before, but now this is my first post in the world of blogging. A spoon of weird, a cup of awkward, and a glass of strange. They are with me right now, looking at me typing here. Am not sure how long would I be consistently posting here. Never mind, time will resolve it.
Just got back home a few days ago, after a tremendous week with someone. Yet, am already missing that someone. Miss that someone’s smile, because only that smile could bring cherish into my life. Never mind, missing can also bring a special happiness to me.
No, this blog is not only about me. But, this blog is about life. My life, your life, and everyone’s life. Life, a simple four-letters word. Yet, there are million things that could describe this word. Never mind, as long as I have the courage to post, I will post as many as I could.
