Life

Ciao Technology

Ciao Technology. Hello Technology. They’re just the same. Zaman dah berubah, dunia dah baju. For those who are not in Malaysia, that sentence is quoted from an ad of Berita Harian.

Not denying the fact, but pondering the fact. One generation before us, our parents, they live without having the cool tech as we have these days. No computers, yes typewriters. No cellphones, yes telegrams. No sms, yes letters. No televisions, yes radios. So many No yet bundles of Yes in our lives.

Facebook, Friendster, MySpace, and etc. Those are like best friends to our current generation. Starting at the age of 7 until 20+, it’s not weird for one to have their accounts on these social web sites.

If back then people are busy with their kebun, bendang, lembu, kerbau, kambing, ayam, itik, etc, nowadays, people are busy with their computers/notebooks. Yet, it’s not wrong either to be exposed to this kind of life, as long as we do not leave our responsibilities behind. So? Go ahead, make love with your computers/notebooks, but don’t forget your love ones out there.

Zaman dah berubah, dunia dah maju.

Should or Shouldn’t

Style number one

Students shouldn’t involve in politics. People keep saying that. And the reason, their main responsibility is to study. Especially for those who are getting the scholarship from the government. Once you graduated, you have to repay the government’s deed to you. They give you a bright future, and with that, you should never become a traitor towards the government.

Style number two

No, number one’s style is so naive. Why shouldn’t they being active in politics? Aren’t they our leaders in the future? Yes, their main responsibily is to study. But, isn’t politics an important thing to be studied as well? If you are calling one a traitor if they are against the government, do you think that the money for their scholarship are the government’s money? Remember, the government is the people, and the money comes from the people. So, they have their rights whether to support or against the government.

Style number three

I don’t care. I hate politics. I’m fine with any alliances as long as I can live a comfortable life. Go to hell to all politicians. They are full with corruptions and they are hungry for power, for popularity, for being famous, and for big money.

Which one should I be? Should I or shouldn’t I?

Child I Was

Just got back from my dad’s hometown, Kuala Selangor. Not to visit grandparents because they were both passed away. But went there to meet my uncles and aunts since I did not meet them during last Raya.

We stopped at a mosque in the old town of Kuala Selangor to perform our Solat. After Solat, my dad showed me the place that he used to sit in that mosque when he was at the age of a primary school student, and also during his secondary school’s life. I looked at his eyes, and I saw a 50-years-old man, trying to recall his unforgettable childhood moments. Now, he’s not that child anymore. He’s grown up, getting married, and has a son. I smiled, because I knew, one day, I would stand at his place, and do the same thing to my child as he did to me.

We are getting older each seconds, but sometimes we are just not realizing it. I feel like I just left my school age yesterday. But, it has been almost three years since the last time I wear my school uniform. I feel like I just having a digimon battle with my friends yesterday, and I was using a Teddymon which I got from doing some cheat on the digimon. I feel like I just got back from playing gasing with my mates. I feel like I just asked my mom to buy me the latest Dragon Ball comic from a bookstore. I feel like I just broke a toy that I got from buying Tora.

I feel like I was just a small kid yesterday. Instead, I am reaching twenty years old, and those are just memories when I was a kid back then.

Time passes by, not to wait for anyone. Growing older, means getting more mature, given more responsibilities. We can never turn back in the world of reality. There is no such thing as time machine to send us back to our young ages. No matter what, we have to face each seconds that are coming towards us. Face it with a strong soul, and you will be a man.

Ambit

There is no limitation in the world of high-technology. We can get almost every single things by just clicking on our desktop or notebooks mouse. World had changed, and human are getting smarter.

The no limit thingy is not only about our modern technology. But, this phenomenon can also be seen in our lifestyle, our way of thinking, our behavior. Human rights, is the main element in setting the infinity in our lives.

Nevertheless, why would we still have to obey the traffic sign while we are driving along the highway? Isn’t it our rights to do whatever we want, and ready for whatever it will takes? Doesn’t no limit quote applied here?

There is a boundary in every single things. Boundary will ensure a stability in human lives. No matter how smart we are, if we don’t put a limit in the things that we are doing, we are not actually improving our lives, despite we are ruining the lives that we have.

Homy Home

In less than a month, I’ll be flying back to my second home, Chambana. It’s not I, but we, whom are currently having fun or not having fun, here in the tropical country. Not having fun? Don’t think so, since nobody hates his/her home.

What have we done recently? Some are happily sharing their precious moments with family members, some are hanging out with friends, some are dating out with the love ones, some are having damn good new love during this Summer.

But, the Earth never forget its responsibility, to spin on its tilted axis, and resulting the Sun to rise and set, every single day. We were back here a month ago, yet that ‘one’ month is over as the result of our Earth responsibility.

Excited or sad?

Sad to leave the people here. Excited to meet the people there. But not excited to start a new semester. Life must go on. A boring quote, repeated over and over again. But still, it’s true. If we think it’s boring because of the repetition, why don’t we feel bored having fun with family, friends, and love ones? We did meet them frequently, saying the same words to our love ones each seconds, and doing almost the same routines every single day. But why don’t we feel sick of it like we hate it when we think about life must go on?

Never feel bored of something, because we love that something. We admire that something. Hence we are not forced to face that something everyday. If we treat life as we treat the rest that we love, we will enjoy our lives no matter what situations we are going to face.

Everything happens with reasons. Enjoying life even it’s a tough one, would bring a smile from our heart.
